Bibb County Deputies Search For Suspect in Weekend Store Robbery
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office needs your help solving an armed robbery incident that happened in the eastern part of the county early Sunday morning.
A suspect with a long barrel shotgun entered the Walthall Chevron gas station on Ocmulgee East Boulevard. He demanded money from the store clerk, and he fired shots into the ceiling.
After he got the money, he fired another shot. The bullet hit a candy rack, and injured the cashier. The injury was not life threatening.
The suspect is described as a white male between 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 2 inches in height with a slender build. He had a “mohawk” style haircut and was wearing a greenish gray colored t-shirt with blue jeans and beige colored boots. He was last seen in a blue, late 90’s model extended cab Toyota Tacoma truck.
