Bibb County Deputies arrest two men involved in West Bibb burglary

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff Deputies responded to a burglary call at a business in the 4400 block of Bishop Road around 3:30 Wednesday morning.

According to a media release, deputies found out the person who called in the complaint was following the suspects’ vehicle. A deputy found the vehicles and followed them into the West Club Apartment complex.

Officials say the deputies chased the suspects through a wooded area after the suspects jumped out of their vehicle. They were led to a residence off of Driskell Circle near Stephens Street.

The Sheriff’s Office reports Deputies found three individuals they suspected were involved in the burglary. Deputies took the three individuals in for questioning. 

After questioning, Deputies arrested Bryan Deion Mathis, 20, and Walter Caryse Robinson, 21. Both are charged with 1 count of Burglary, according to the release. 

The incident is still under investigation.
