Bibb County Democrats, Republicans Weigh in on Romney’s “47%”

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – 47% has been making headlines across the country,
and now middle Georgians from both parties weigh in on Governor Mitt Romney’s choice of words at a private fundraiser.

Governor Romney responded to the video on Monday night. He said, “It’s not elegantly stated let me put it that way I’m speaking off the cuff in response to a question.” 

Democrat, Sarah Hunt says it doesn’t matter because even after his words were exposed, Romney didn’t apologize.

“He stuck with his statement. He’s sorry that people misinterpreted it, but he did not change it,” says Hunt.
