Bibb County Athletics Host Basketball Media Day

All Six Schools and 12 teams joined the Bibb County High School Basketball Media Day Monday night at the Thompson Complex

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – At the Thompson complex in Macon Monday, it was Bibb County High School Basketball Media Day.

All six schools and 12 teams were in attendance to speak on the success of their last season, and what the respective team plans to do this season with the group of student athletes they have on their roster. The theme of this season for Bibb County Athletics is ‘Beyond the Scoreboard’, an initiative to get coaches and players to not only be great at basketball, but to apply those skills and life lessons learned on the court, to real life situations.

Teams to watch include Central’s girls team, who is trying to make a run at the State Championship once again, after making the final four last season – as well as the Southwest boys squad, who are at the top of their Class A Division One preseason polls.
