Bibb County deputies search for two suspects after armed robbery at gas station

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is searching for two suspects following an armed robbery at a Macon gas station Tuesday night.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two suspects following an armed robbery at a Macon gas station Tuesday night.

According to the sheriff’s office, the robbery happened around 10 p.m. at the Texaco located at 2893 Napier Avenue.

Investigators say two masked men entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded money from the cash register. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspects fled in an unknown direction. Authorities have not determined whether they left in a vehicle.

The first suspect is described as a male wearing a dark sweatshirt, dark pants and a face mask.

The second suspect is described as a male wearing a dark sweatshirt, black pants with two white stripes down the legs and a face mask.
