Bibb Co. School System Unveils New Safety Equipment

Bibb County Campus Police add 15 new police cars to its fleet. The cars are apart of the 2010 Capital Improvement Program funded by the Education Special Options Local Sales Tax.

Chief Daniel DeCoursey says, “What we’ve had to do in the past is sometimes we’d have some officers coming on later on in the day to handle traffic type situations. We’d actually have our officers sitting around and waiting to get a vehicle.”
