Better Business Bureau, Goodwill of Middle Georgia to host shred day

The Better Business Bureau will shred any documents that include personal or sensitive information to help avoid identity theft.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Better Business Bureau and Goodwill of Middle Georgia are hosting Shred Day in Macon.

Shred Day is open to the community and will be at 5171 Eisenhower Pkwy in Macon. The free event is September 28 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The Better Business Bureau will shred any documents that include personal or sensitive information to help avoid identity theft.

Participants are limited to only 3 trash bags. Attendees need to remove any metal clips or binders and place all items in the trunk for easy retrieval.

All boxes will be emptied and returned.
