Bath Salts Used as Drugs to Get High
There’s a new drug on the streets, and it’s one that can be found in many convenience stores, and maybe even your home.
Certain bath salts are being used to get high, but using them can come at a very high price.
Stories from across the United States are coming from hospitals and families about people who are snorting, smoking, and eating bath salts.
But the salts can create symptoms of hallucinations, increased heart rate, and in some cases, death.
One case led a 21 year old man to try to cut his own throat. He survived, but then used a gun to end his life after using the salts again.
Right now the salts can be easily found and bought online by anyone who wants them.
They do contain a warning label which says ‘Not For Human Consumption’, but it’s a warning some people are ignoring.
The brand names of the salts Rep. Neal would like to ban are;
-
Ivory Wave

White China
-

-
Cloud-9
-
White Dove
-
