Bartow U.S. Post Master Arrested for Drugs

SANDERSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bartow U. S. Post Master was recently arrested for giving an inmate drugs and a cell phone.
A Washington County Sheriff’s Office contraband investigation led to the arrest of the postal official, according to sheriff Thomas Smith.
36-year-old Jessica Napier of Tennille was arrested Thursday, after an inmates at the county jail received marijuana and a cell phone from Napier.
Authorities believe the inmate found with the drugs and phone is Napier’s boyfriend.
Napier is charged with possession of prohibited items, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, trading with inmates and crossing guardlines with drugs.

The inmate was transferred to another county jail.
