Bank of America ATM Armed Robbery

Macon Police responded to an armed robbery at the Bank of America on 3855 Bloomfield Road Sunday afternoon.

The victim was attempting to make a commercial deposit when he was approached by an African American male in a silver Honda Accord. The man pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded the money bag.

The suspect grabbed the money bag and jumped into the passenger side of the Accord. A witness called 9-1-1 and reported the vehicle was located at Macon Gardens Apartments. However, no suspects were in the vicinity.

Macon Police stated the vehicle was stolen on December 17th in Macon.

The gunman had a bandana covering his face. He is about 5’9 and approximately 230 lbs. The driver of the stolen vehicle never left the car, but is said to have dreads.
