Baldwin Investigators Looking for Stolen Antique Racecar and Motorcycle

MotorcycleMILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary after two antique vehicles are stolen from a residence in East Baldwin County.

According to Captain Brad King, investigators responded to a call from a residence on Snyder Road regarding a stolen 1968 Camaro valued at $55,000, and a 1948 Harley Davidson motorcycle valued at $20,000.

King says the vehicles were taken from an out-building on the residence’s property where several other cars and bikes were stored. The owner told investigators that other vehicles had Camarobeen moved around to get the Camaro and Harley out.

The owner called the sheriff’s office around 4pm Wednesday afternoon, but investigators say the burglary likely happened between 10:30 and 11 am. Neighbors in the area say they heard the vehicle crank up. King says it was likely loaded onto a trailer.
