Baldwin County Superior Court Employee Charged with Child Exploitation

A Baldwin County Superior Court employee is currently being held in the Baldwin County Jail after an investigation led to a charge of child exploitation.

Sheriff Bill Massee says Richard O’Neal was asked to go on administrative leave by Superior Court Judge Hulane George after an investigation began regading these allegations. Massee says citizens reached out to him to investigate.

Both the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office and GBI conducted the investigation that began on Tuesday. O’Neal was arrested on Wednesday afternoon. Massee says Facebook is one of the leads they followed, but he would not elaborate further.

O’Neal could also face identity theft and other charges. The investigation is still on-going.
