Baldwin County senior center opens new library for senior participants

The addition of the library reflects the Center's commitment to enhance the quality of life for Baldwin County' older residents.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Baldwin County Senior Center opens a new library at one of its centers for its senior participates.

Last Thursday, Overview Incorporated and the Baldwin County Senior Center held the ribbon cutting.

Executive Director of Overview Incorporated Wanda Addeo said the library will give seniors a way to connect and share common interests.

The participants can check out all sorts of books, from their growing selection, including books with large print.

“We had Representative Floyd Griffin last week at the ribbon cutting and he donated some signed books and so we’re in the process of getting those cataloged and they’re really excited about checking those books out and reading them,” said Addeo.

Addeo said, Overview Inc. is starting out with books but will soon move to DVDs.
