Baconsfield Kroger In Macon Robbed, Police Looking for Suspect
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – An early morning robbery at a Macon Kroger grocery store has police looking for the man responsible.
In a news release from Macon Police, the supect came into the Kroger on North Avenue a few minutes before 2:00a.m. Monday and handed the clerk at the self-checkout a note, demanding money.
The man did not show the clerk a weapon.
He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and left the store in an unknown direction on foot. Police say the man was wearing orange sweat pants and a grey shirt with a baseball cap. If you have any information, you’re asked to call police at 751-7500 or call Crimestoppers at 1-877-68-CRIME.
