Baby Dies from Head Injury at Macon Kroger

A three month old baby is dead after what Macon Police are calling a freak accident in the Kroger Parking Lot on Forsyth Road. Police say the baby died from a head injury.

A Kroger employee, who knew the baby’s mother, was pushing the cart the child was in when the cart went over a speed bump.  According to police, the baby wasn’t properly secured in the cart which caused him to fall out. The death is under investigation, but police say there will likely be no charges filed.
