Auction on Saturday for Seized Items in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A local auction company wants you to benefit from items seized from crime.

People are invited to come out to the auction on Broadway in Macon.

The company, T-Lynn Davis, is auctioning off weapons, hats, high end fashion, furniture, and confiscated cars that police seized from drug deals and other arrests.

There are even some police cars from Macon and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office that will be auctioned off.

“A lot of it is Sheriff’s cars that the county has been using, they just selling the surplus off, I guess that they’re trying to get rid of a lot of stuff before the consolidation hits,” Jim Davis, President of the auction company said.

The auction is on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 9 a.m. at 4459 Broadway, Macon, Georgia.
