Attendees welcome to a ‘feathered frenzy’

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Museum of Arts and Sciences will host Family Fun Day on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

 

Part of the event features ‘Bird Day,’ when visitors get a chance to explore the museum’s collection of birds, and learn more about featured creatures of all types.

 

According to the event’s web page, attendees will see several highlights:

·         Pete Griffin from the CharlieElliottWildlifeCenter will entertain the crowds with a ‘Birds of Prey’ raptor show.

·         The Georgia Falconry Association will perform along with Alan “Smokey” Dury in “All About Falconry.

·         Janell Richards will host ‘Big Birds Aviary”

·         And you can eat like a bird if you stop by the “Bird’s Eye Café”
