Atrium Health Navicent Wellness Center helps people prepare for Macon Music Half Marathon

The 3rd annual Macon Music Half Marathon is November 22.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Atrium Health Navicent Wellness Center is helping people prepare for Macon Music Half Marathon.

The Macon Music Half Marathon is set for November 22 and starts at 8 a.m. at Carolyn Crayton Park.

The 13.1-mile course runs through downtown Macon, passing local landmarks tied to the city’s musical history, including Capricorn Studios, the Otis Redding Foundation, the Grand Opera House, and Little Richard’s childhood home. The finish line is at historic Luther Williams Field.

Race organizers say registration remains open through November 21, with fees ranging from $70 to $80 depending on sign-up date. All runners receive a long-sleeve wicking shirt and a commemorative medal. The race has a 3.5-hour time limit.

Awards will be given to top overall finishers, masters, grand masters, and age-group winners based on net time.
