Atrium Health Amphitheater set to officially open Sunday with first concert

A unique feature of the amphitheater, is the ability to order food using your phone.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)—Macon is set to welcome legendary bands Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top for a highly anticipated concert on Sunday. It will be the first show inside Atrium Health Amphitheater.

A unique feature of the amphitheater, is the ability to order food using your phone. Servers will then bring it to your seat, so you don’t miss a moment of the show. There will also be food trucks just outside the amphitheater, serving a variety of delicious meals..

The menu inside the amphitheater includes crispy fried chicken and an SL sausage sampler package.

“We also have our barbecued kettle chip nachos. So there’s brisket and pork, we also have our taco station. There are three separate tacos,” said John Schmitz, the Eastern Divisional Chef at OVG.

Local brewery Fall Line Brew, will also be inside the amphitheater offering a variety of beers.
