Artists use Tattnall Park sidewalks as canvas

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Professional artists used sidewalks as their canvas to draw vivid pictures.

Some youngsters worked alone while others teamed up with friends, or their parents.

All of the artists were looking to win the judges’ attention for the prize.

More than 50 people registered for the event, according to Macon-Bibb Parks and Recreation Programmer, Ellen Banas

“Our judges that we have, they’re local artists,” says Banas. “They’re looking at things like quality craftsmanship, use of space and then perspective for some of our professional and community artists.”
