Art studio coming to historic building in downtown Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon-Bibb Planning and Zoning Board approved a proposal for a new art studio within the historic Robert E. Lee building on Mulberry Street in downtown Macon.

According to the proposal, Tammy Ratzken wants to use the space for a private studio as an artist. And the space would also be used to offer drawing and painting classes to children and adults.

The classes would take place two to three times a week in the evenings and on Saturdays, according to the proposal.
