Argument over Facebook leads to stabbing

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon woman is facing an aggravated assault charged for stabbing her boyfriend after he began choking her.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the fight between 27-year-old Tonisha McElroy and 30-year-old Dashon Davis started over Facebook.

The incident happened Monday around 9:00 p.m. in the 4900 block of Pinefield Drive.

Davis was treated for his injuries at a local hospital and released.

McElroy was brought in for questioning then taken to the Bibb County Jail an charged with one count of aggravated assault.
