AP Source: Judge Expected In NY For NFL Talks

NEW YORK – A person familiar with the NFL labor negotiations says talks
will continue Monday in New York instead of Minneapolis. The person spoke to The Associated Press on Sunday on condition of anonymity because the discussions are supposed to remain confidential.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Arthur Boylan had ordered both sides to meet with him Tuesday in Minneapolis. Now, the court-appointed mediator is expected to arrive in New York on Monday to oversee talks as the league and its players work to end a four-month lockout.

The owners and players made significant progress this week, but potential sticking points remain, including re-establishing the union and figuring out what it will take to for nine NFL players,  including Tom Brady, to settle their antitrust suit against the league.
