Another sunny and mild day in the low 60’s

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning to everyone!! Happy Thursday to you and the first day of February! This morning we are starting off in the low to mid 30s with clear skies just like a February morning should be. This afternoon we will be in the low 60s with plenty of sunshine. Overnight temperatures drop into the upper 30s to low 40s. Warmer conditions are expected for groundhog day afternoon in the upper 60s with sunny conditions. This will continue for your Saturday with temperatures expected to be in the mid 60s. On Sunday a few showers are possible across the area with temperatures in the 60’s. Rain will last into Monday afternoon with temperatures in the 50s. Rain totals look to be just above a inch as of now. Temperatures will continue in the upper 50s low 60s next week. The first half of February looks to be very warm and above average. This could change as we head towards the middle of February to end of the month. Have a great day!!
