Annual turkey giveaway set for this weekend

Attorney, Daryl Von Yokely, says there will be 500 turkeys given away and sides. There will also be rolls, collared greens, and a drink for those in need. 

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The 10th annual turkey giveaway is set for this weekend.

The event is November 23 in the parking lot of Overtyme Bar & Grille, located at 2455 Pio Nono in Macon.

Attorney, Daryl Von Yokely, says there will be 500 turkeys given away and sides. There will also be rolls, collared greens, and a drink for those in need.

“In these economic times there are quite a few folks who are just having a hard time,” says Yokely. ” To be able to go in your pocket and help some folks that need help is worht it.”

The event begins at 12 p.m. and will continue until supplies run out.
