Angela King-Anderson announces campaign for Houston Superior Court Clerk

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Angela King-Anderson, a Warner Robins native and longtime courthouse employee announces her candidacy for Clerk of Superior Court.

According to a news release sent to the 41NBC newsroom Wednesday night by ‘The Committee to Elect Angela King-Anderson’, she has worked within the Houston County court system for 26 years. The release says her experience in several different areas of the judicial system make her uniquely qualified.

King-Anderson has worked as a crime victim advocate, District Attorney’s Office legal assistant, and currently works as a judicial assistant for a Superior Court judge. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Family Promise of Houston County.

This will be King-Anderson’s second run for Superior Court Clerk, after she ran in 2020.

“I am honored to again announce my candidacy for Superior Court Clerk,” said King-Anderson.”The Clerk’s office is the backbone of our legal system, and I am committed to ensuring that it operates smoothly, efficiently, and in the best interest of our community.”

King-Anderson’s campaign says she brings a track record of excellence in public service and a commitment to moving the clerk’s office forward with improved technology and customer service

“With the pending retirement of the county’s long serving Clerk, it is time for a breathe of fresh air into the office,” the release stated. “Angela King Anderson will bring improved technology, transparency, efficiency and customer service to the Clerk’s office.”
