Anchor of Hope Foundation hosts 13th annual golf tournament

Executive director Carrie Owen says they're a non-profit that supports families with children who have development disabilities across Georgia.

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  The Anchor of Hope Foundation is hosting its 13th annual golf tournament at River Forest.

Executive director Carrie Owen says they’re a non-profit that supports families with children who have development disabilities across Georgia.

Owen says they use the money for several programs such as scholarships, respite care and resources, and that they help families in areas where insurance and Medicaid don’t cover.

Their goal is to raise $10,000.

Winners will be officially be announced by Wednesday.
