American Shingle CEO Behind Bars
The CEO o
f American Shingle turned himself into the Bibb county jail around 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Carlton Dunko is charged with two felony counts of theft by conversion.
His bond is set at just under $6,500 dollars.
At least 20 people filed reports with the Bibb County sheriff’s office,
accusing American Shingle of taking their money without repairing their roofs.
The company closed down its Macon branch on August 16th,
and filed chapter 7 bankruptcy soon after.
