ALDI preparing to open new Milledgeville store

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The grocery chain, ALDI, is preparing to open a new store in Milledgeville in the coming weeks.

The store is located on 1978 N. Columbia Street.

A ribbon cutting ceremony is set for Thursday, May 12 at 8:45 a.m. The public is invited to attend. The first 100 shoppers will receive a golden ticket, each containing ALDI gift certificates of various amounts.

Customers will also have an opportunity to sample ALDI brand products and enter an on-site sweepstakes for a chance to win a year’s supply of ALDI produce.

“We challenge shoppers to switch from national brands to our high-quality exclusive brands and stretch their dollars without compromising quality,” Thom Behtz, Jefferson division vice president of ALDI, said.

Th new store will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 pm. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
