Advance Voting For The Presidential Primary Election
MACON,Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Advance voting for the presidential primary election is about to wrap up, but don’t worry. You still have time to vote for the next Republican presidential nominee.
So far, 548 people have voted early. Bibb County Election Supervisor Elaine Carr says she expects more people to vote during the last week of advance voting.
If you don’t have time to vote during the work-week, there is good news; you will be able to vote this Saturday.
“This is the first time that we initiated the statewide Saturday voting two weeks before the actual election itself. We will be open from 9am-4pm this upcoming Saturday,” said Election Supervisor Elaine Carr.
Voters may advance vote at the Macon-Bibb County Board of Elections’ main office located at the corner of Eisenhower Parkway and Pio Nono Avenue. The last day to vote early is Friday, March 2, 2012.
Election day is March 6th.
