McLendon is leaving the academy for another opportunity

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – ACE Athletic Director and head coach Josh McLendon, one of the original leaders of the Gryphons athletic program, has announced his departure from the Academy for a new opportunity.
McClendon has served as the head coach of both the baseball and softball programs, guiding each to consistent playoff appearances throughout his tenure. Under his leadership, the baseball team posted a 122-61 record, reaching the Final Four in 2021.
