A few hit or miss showers and storms expected this afternoon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)-  Good morning and happy Tuesday! This morning, we’re starting off with mild temperatures in the 50s and 60s as clouds move into Middle Georgia. Today, we can expect a few hit-or-miss showers and thunderstorms, with temperatures reaching the 80s. Don’t forget to bring your rain jacket as you head out this morning! The rain is expected between 2pm and 8pm, so plan accordingly. Tomorrow morning will remain mild in the 60s, and we’ll warm up to the mid and upper 80s with partly cloudy skies. The rest of the week will bring sunshine and temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s. Looking ahead to the weekend, rain is in the forecast, especially for Saturday afternoon. We could see another half to an inch and a half of rain. Have a great day!
