Dump truck hit by train

MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  Monroe County Deputies are investigating after a dump truck was struck by a train this morning. According to a post on the sheriff’s office’s social media it happened around 7:30 this morning at Ga Highway 41 South at the Rock Quarry. The driver of the dump truck only suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.  The incident delayed morning traffic until it was cleared.
