An app from TikTok’s parent company is creating buzz in the U.S. The app, Lemon8, was first launched by ByteDance in 2020. It was rolled out in the U.S. in February. Axios reports has been installed 650,000 times in the past week and a half. Lemon8 features a mix of videos and still photos with an “artsy, colorful and aspirational” aesthetic.
