Man charged with cruelty to animals after shooting dog
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Bibb County grand jury indicted a man on several charges including cruelty to animals after he allegedly shot a dog in May 2016.
According to the Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office, 31-year-old Brandon Dakota Kitchens is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of an illegal weapon and criminal use of an article with an altered identification mark.
Kitchens was arrested for using a sawed off shotgun to shoot a dog in May 2016. Investigators found the gun’s serial number was removed.
Kitchens is presumed innocent until being found guilty,
