U.S. Marine Corps Reserve host Toys for Tots in Warner Robins

WARNER ROBINS,Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Children in Houston and Bibb County will find toys on their wish list under the Christmas tree this holiday.

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve hosted their annual Toys for Tots and collected toys outside of the Toys R Us in Warner Robins Saturday.

Wendy Chadwell is the coordinator for Toys for Tots.

She’s been the coordinator for more than 10 years and said giving back is an amazing feeling.

“The children that receive the toys are so excited when we come and give them to them. It helps families out. It helps our community out. It builds relations, so it’s just a great program,” Chadwell said.

The U.S. Marine Corps has hosted Toys for Tots since 1949.
