Man shot in the face while walking near downtown Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 19-year-old man is recovering after he was shot in the face early Wednesday Morning.

Bibb County Deputies say Raeshon Waters was walking on Pine Street with Rashard Taylor and Tavarse Baldwin when someone fired shots at them from inside a car and drove off.

Deputies say Waters was shot in the face.

Taylor and Baldwin were not hurt in this incident and they were able to take Waters to the hospital.

Waters is listed in stable condition.
