BCSO looking for suspects in hotel shooting on Riverside Drive

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated assault incident that happened in the parking lot of a hotel on Riverside Drive.

Officers were called to the Palm Tree Extended Stay Hotel just after 5:00a.m. Saturday Morning. When they arrived they were met with 28 year-old Patrick Shawn McCumber of Warner Robins.

McCumber told deputies he was assaulted by an unknown number of male subjects, and then shot in the groin area by one of the suspects.

McCumber was then taken to Navicent Health Medical Center and is now listed in stable condition. No one else was injured during the incident.
