Keeping Organized: Cable Chaos!

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – If you’re like everyone else in America, you probably have enough cords and cables from all sorts of electronics to wrap the circumference of the globe multiple times. That’s why Andi Willis is back to give you a few ideas on how you can corral your cable chaos!

Firstly, Andi suggests you label everything. Cables in a pile can turn into a tangled mess, a mass combination of wayward prongs and outputs. This is especially useful for cables that are in active use, so you won’t inadvertently unplug your computer when you’re trying to turn off the desk fan.

Secondly, get a designated box for your cables. Also using individual baggies can add an extra dimension of organization into your life.

And if you have a stack of cables that seemingly go to nothing, just placing them into a container for Lost Cables is a good way to keep them out of the way. Get rid of the ones you don’t need. But if it turns out you do need them? Amazon or eBay will usually have what you need.
