GBI investigating a deputy-involved shooting in Milledgeville

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Baldwin County Sheriff’s deputy shot a man in Milledgeville Monday afternoon.

Baldwin County Sheriff Bill Massee says the shooting happened at the West Apartments around 3 PM.

Sheriff Massee says the man shot was taken to the hospital and is in ‘good’ condition.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI) has taken over the case.
