BCSO assisting Monroe County to find high speed chase suspect

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Deputies were out Monday night assisting Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies in the search for a suspect after leading them on a high speed chase.

The black Toyota Camry they believe is from Atlanta was pulled over for an expired tag and registration. The car took off once the Monroe County Deputy got out of his car to approach the vehicle.

The chase ended somewhere in South Bibb on Hawkinsville Road. The suspect then got out of his car and took off on foot. They still haven’t located that suspect, but right now deputies as well as K-9 unit dogs are out searching for the man.
