Man accused of killing Peach County officers pleads guilty
FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The man accused of shooting and killing two Peach Sheriff’s Officers pleaded not guilty in court Thursday morning. This is according to the District Attorney’s office.
Ralph Stanley Elrod Jr. has been charged with killing Deputy Daryl Smallwood and Sargent Patrick Sondron in November.
Elrod’s trial begins February 12th. If convicted, he could face the death penalty.
