Warner Robins City Council approves 2018 budget

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Warner Robins City Council has finally come to a decision while on a tight deadline. Council members passed the 2018 budget in a 3-2 vote Thursday night. They needed to make a decision by July 1st so they held a called meeting.

Council members also agreed to take money out from the reserves account to fund a pay scale for city employees, which will cost about $1.6 million. Councilman Chuck Shaheen says the next step will be trying to figure out how they will pay for that pay scale after this year.
