Machete attack ends argument between two men in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – An argument between two men ended with one man being slashed with a machete Friday night.

Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on Wellworth Aveune and found 31-year-old Calvin Fleming lying in the street with multiple cuts on his body.

Fleming said that when he tried to leave, the suspect pulled him from his car and struck him in the head with the machete and on his body several times.

The suspect fled the scene before deputies arrive.

Fleming was taken to Navicent Health and is in critical condition.
