Jones County deputies make largest single seizure of heroin in county history
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Deputies from the Jones County Sheriff’s Office seized over 28 grams of heroin from a man on Mattie Wells Drive in Macon Monday night.
According to a Facebook post by the Jones County Sheriff’s Office, it’s the largest single seizure of heroin in Jones County.
Macon resident Dexter Bernard Brown, 43, is charged with trafficking a Schedule I drug. Deputies also found Brown in possession of Xanax and a Schedule IV drug.
The Facebook post from the sheriff’s office states Brown has been charged multiple times in the past on drug related crimes, throughout Middle Georgia.
