UPDATE: Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office phone outage fixed

UPDATE: As of 3:20 p.m., the Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that their phone lines are all back in service.

(41NBC/WMGT) — The Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office is experiencing an outage that’s affecting their phone lines.

According to an administrative assistant at the Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office, all non-emergency lines are currently down. She says that the 911 phone number is still working though.

TCSO says the outage began sometime Wednesday morning, and they don’t know when the non-emergency lines will be back up.
