Milledgeville water restrictions lifted

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The city of Milledgeville has lifted water restrictions for outdoor water usage throughout the community.

The restrictions went into effect on July 5th to allow crews to fix a broken water pump that supplied water to the city’s residents. 

According to a news release from the city, water department personnel says a replacement pump has been received and installed.

A temporary pump has been discontinued and the water plant is back to normal.
