Man dies after motorcycle accident in Forsyth

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is dead after crashing his motorcycle into a ditch Sunday evening.

According to a news release from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, 56-year-old Elmer Lundy was riding his motorcycle on Stokes Store Road.

When EMS and deputies got to the scene, they discovered Lundy had crashed into a ditch and separated from the motorcycle.

Lundy was pronounced dead on the scene.

The sheriff’s office is still investigating to see what led to the crash.
