Bibb deputies make two arrests in multiple burglaries investigation

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two arrests have been made after multiple burglaries were reported in District 3 of Macon-Bibb.

According to a news release, deputies noticed a suspicious vehicle coming from behind El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant on Forsyth Road around 3:45 a.m., Tuesday. When deputies attempted to stop the car the driver refused. Three suspects ran into the woods from the vehicle near a church on Westover Drive.

One suspect was caught and identified as 17-year-old Eimyre Poole. He was charged with two counts of burglary, theft by receiving stolen property and obstruction.

While questioning Poole, deputies noticed a car circling the area of the scene. Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle and the driver refused. Deputies finally caught the driver near Larmont Street. He has been identified as 30-year-old Bernard Miller. Miller is charged with aggravated assault, attempting to elude, driving on a suspended license and possession of marijuana.

Both suspects were taken to the Bibb County Jail.
