Coffee shop teaches about history of buinesses in Perry

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A coffee shop in Perry is teaching residents about the history of businesses on Carroll Street.

The Historical Society of Perry holds a themed tour each month.

Tonight stories was centered around Christmases from the past and strange ordinances.

Vice President of Perry Area Historical Society said “it’s just about a 30-minute oral tour to depict the history of Perry in a little different way.”

The next “Cup of History” at the coffee cup on Carrolll Street will be February 11.
